Western Moon

A lone bronco leaping under the energy of the full moon.

Western Moon is drawn in one singular black line. It rises from the lower edge, gathers a band of layered reds— oxblood, rust, deep crimson— and carries up and across the top of the cloth, catching a stitched moon at the end of its arc. Below, the black resolves into a horse at the height of its jump, legs poised, weight thrown forward. The pale forms at the center rise from the figure, a cloud of warm breath on a brisk dawn, on the plains of the American west. 

Western Moon has the most restrained palette the House has worked in: cream, black, and a run of reds. It is entirely hand-quilted, so that the ground ripples and holds light, and the appliqué stands in relief. Made in Jaipur from antique silk sarees, each line stitched by hand.

Our 2026 collection of tapestries are made using a traditional hand-quilting technique. The result is a piece with a sculptural, three-dimensional presence that is also hard-wearing and lighter to hang. Each comes with removable top and bottom bars, so it can be displayed without additional hardware.

All tapestries are editions of 20, regardless of size or customisation. Once the last one sells, it is then added to the archives and not for sale.
