House of Quentin Jones Terms & Conditions

By placing an order with House of Quentin Jones (“HOQJ,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
These terms are written to be clear, respectful, and aligned with the nature of handcrafted work.

1. Product Information

All HOQJ pieces are produced by hand in small studios in Lisbon and Jaipur.
This means:

Variations in color, stitching, glaze pooling, shape, and linework are expected.
No two pieces will ever be exactly alike.
These variations are not considered defects.

We make every effort to photograph and describe pieces accurately, but minor shifts between the artwork and screen images may occur.

2. Pricing & Availability

All prices listed are in USD and may change without notice.
Availability is not guaranteed; many pieces are produced in limited batches or made to order.

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue products at any time.

3. Orders

When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation.
This does not signify acceptance of your order — we reserve the right to verify, accept, or cancel orders at our discretion (for example, in cases of payment issues or incorrect stock levels).

If an order is cancelled, you will be notified and refunded promptly.

4. Payment

We accept major credit cards, Apple Pay, Shop Pay, and any additional payment methods shown at checkout. Payment is captured at the time of purchase.

5. Shipping

All orders ship from our studio in New York.

International customers are responsible for all taxes, duties, and import fees.

We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs, or external circumstances.

6. Returns & Exchanges

Due to the nature of handcrafted work:

Ceramics may be returned on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return.
Tapestries are made to order and are therefore final sale.
Exchanges are dependent on product availability.

Returned items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in secure packaging.

7. Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us at studio@houseofquentinjones.com within 48 hours with photographs.
We will resolve the issue with a refund, replacement, or repair whenever possible.

8. Commissions & Custom Work

We take on select commissions subject to studio capacity.
All custom or commissioned work is final sale.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including images, product designs, text, drawings, graphics, and video — is the intellectual property of House of Quentin Jones.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially use any content without written permission.

10. Privacy

Your personal information is used solely to process your order and to provide a smooth shopping experience. We do not sell or share data with third parties outside what is necessary for payment and shipping.

11. Liability

HOQJ is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to the purchase or use of our products.
Fragile pieces should always be handled with care.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Any disputes will be handled within this jurisdiction.
