Eggs
A playful constellation of shapes and cut-outs, balancing presence and absence.
Eggs is a study in rhythm and void. Pale blue and grey ovals float across a deep black field, and olive green, connected by wandering antique silk lines. Some forms are whole; others fall away into cut-outs that reveal the space behind — creating shifting layers of presence, absence, and shadow.
Stitched by artisans in Jaipur using antique silks, the tapestry’s negative space becomes part of the composition. Depending on where it hangs, the wall colour transforms the work’s mood, making it one of the House’s most interactive textile pieces — a living puzzle of shape and air.
All tapestries are editions of 50, regardless of size or customisation. Once the last one sells, it is then added to the archives and not for sale.
