Circe's Garden

A garden of a woman's making.

Suspended at the center of Circe's Garden is a woman's torso, giving life to, and becoming in turn, the garden that surrounds her. A dark velvet bloom unfurls above her, displaying its rich orange center. Striped orbs in plum and rust dangle nearby like fruit bursting open. Deep emerald vines wend amongst them, coiling and knotting, extending their reach into the botanical shade. The intoxicating scene rests on a field of pale quilted circles: fruit, waiting to ripen. 

The palette is deep and narrow: cream, emerald, rust. Quilted entirely by hand, and bound in a deep green border, the garden beckons you in. Made in Jaipur from antique silk sarees and velvet. 

Our 2026 collection of tapestries is made using a traditional hand-quilting technique. The result is a piece with a sculptural, three-dimensional presence that is also hard-wearing and lighter to hang. Each comes with removable top and bottom bars, so it can be displayed without additional hardware. 

All tapestries are editions of twenty, regardless of size or customization. Once the last one sells, it is added to the archives.
